12/01/2011: "HAMTRAMCK GOODFELLOWS"
 On Friday, December 2nd the Hamtramck Firefighters and other volunteers will be hitting the streets selling the Hamtramck Review Newspaper with proceeds benefitting the Hamtramck Goodfellows.
The Hamtramck Goodfellows have been serving this community for over 97 years. Each year around this time, people from all walks of life join the “old newsboys” network and collect donations to pay for holiday meals for those in need. Many of the beneficiaries of Goodfellows holiday meals are children and the elderly.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks for your past support and invite you to join the Goodfellows for our collection drive this year. The drive begins Friday, December 2, 2011 and continues throughout the month of December. Every dollar collected is spent right here in our community.
