09/23/2011: "STEVE PARUK TO RETIRE"
 Congratulations go Chief Steve Paruk as he leaves the Hamtramck Fire Service. Chief Paruk's last day of work is scheduled for next week after serving nearly 27 years with the Hamtramck Fire Department, raising through the ranks as Firefighter, Motor Engineer, Lieutent, Fire Marshal and serving the last few years as a Fire Chief.
Steve has also served as Hamtramck Firefighters Association in past including Treasurer and Vice President. No party is planned at this time.
