06/18/2009: "SLEZAK FUNDRAISER"
 Former Hamtramck Firefighter and current Sterling Heights Firefighter, Chris Slezak was recently diagnosed with Adult Lymphocytic Leukemia. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Chris is a loving husband and father of three and has dedicated his life to serving the community.
Please click here to check the Sterling Heights Firefighters website for various events to benefit Chris and his family including a Bone Marrown Donor Program on June 19-20 at the Sterling Heights Station #5 on Ryan Rd, (the test only takes 10 minutes and is only swab to the cheek!), other events include a Wine Tasting, Bowling and a Hair Cut-A-Thon.
