07/27/2006: "NEW BOOTS"
 The Hamtramck Firefighters welcomed five new firefighters - as well as a return of one former firefighter as probationary "boots." Brian Zajac returns to the department as probationary firefighter after leaving several years ago and spending time with other area Fire Departments, also joining the Hamtramck Fire Department are Mike Young, Bill Head, Jeremy Grundy, Matt Larivee and Paul Sevakis. The guys were sworn in on July 21st, their first day of work was July 24th.
