We’d like to thank everyone for participating and donating to our hurricane relief effort. Along with our friends at Hamtramck Police FOP Loge #109 and the Knights of Columbus, we had a spaghetti dinner with the proceeds benefiting the victims of Hurricane’s Katrina and Rita. The event was a success and we raised several hundred dollars and had a great time meeting and greeting the members of our community.

We’d like to extend a warm hand of thanks to the following for their generous help in making this event as successful as it was: Victoria Guy, Nicole Serafino, Kristina Brown, Meyer Crandall, Lisa Dombrowski, George Kristy, Pat & John Nolan and New Deluxe Bakery as well as everyone who stopped by and participated.

Very special thanks to Maria Trzin, for assisting with the organizing and providing the meatballs for the spaghetti and to Detective Jackie Crachiola for making up a batch of her secret spaghetti sauce.

Of course, none of this would have happened without the great help of our friends at Knights of Columbus, who helped make this happen. Thanks to Jeff Stawasz, Bob Zwolak and the rest of the staff for their support in making the event work as well as it did.
