Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and Hurricane Rita struck Texas along with the surrounding areas. Hamtramck’s “Finest” and “Bravest” are uniting to assist those devastated by the hurricanes. The Hamtramck Firefighters (IAFF Local 750) and the Hamtramck Police (FOP Lodge 109) will be sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit, with proceeds going to help the victims of both disasters.

Along with help from our friends at Knights of Columbus, we will be in their lounge at 9632 Conant on Saturday October 15th from 4pm to 9pm serving up the secret spaghetti sauce from the kitchen of the firehouse with all proceeds to benefit the Hurricane victims. Dinner includes salad, spaghetti and wine and will be available throughout the evening; a few special events are planned as well.
